2 Years ago, Break The Trend put together a plan with the After two long torturous years, Canada’s local rock and roll superstars Break The Trend are back for more… All right, cut the shit. These guys are about the music. It’s not only what they do, it’s who they are. Coming off of 2015’s three song EP “Talk Is Cheap”, Break The Trend has set the stage for their first full length album release “Casualties”

By joining forces with Brampton Ontario’s first record label SoundDrive Records, the band is ready to unveil their emotionally charged, politically inspired debut LP. Recorded in August 2016 by Recording Engineer/Producer Kyle Luettschwager at Schoolhouse Studios, “Casualties” stays true to the bands promise to bring passion and soul back to Rock and Roll. “We wanted to showcase a piece of ourselves and our insight on pop culture.” Exclaims lead singer/rhythm guitarist John Fournier, “All while keeping it in our wide range of musical influences.”

On the cusp of releasing their very first music video, filmed in Brampton’s famed King Of The Ring boxing club “Fight Your Reality” is sure to challenge the status quo and pave the way for Break The Trend’s hard-hitting return to the airwaves. The Brain Injury Society of Toronto is a community non-profit supporting those living with the effects of acquired brain injury. Our members are children, young adults, parents, spouses, grandparents, professional and service providers. Membership is open to anyone.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for people in the City of Toronto, living with the effects of acquired brain injury through education, awareness, support and advocacy.

BIST was established in 2004 by a steering committee made up of stakeholders – including people with ABI, family members and people who work in ABI support and rehabilitation in collaboration with the Ontario Brain Injury Association. Today, BIST is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing community stakeholders including; survivors, service providers, educators, and professionals.

SounDrive Records Signs Break The Trend

SounDrive Records is proud to announce the first addition to the roster, Break The Trend!

Break The Trend is a 3-piece Rock/Alternative band based out of North Bay. After the years of writing, playing music together and recording, they have been expanding their name and taking over the North Bay area. BTT has now moved on to Peterborough and by touching around other areas in the GTA, they will have the ability to bring their name to new heights.
